Description

Insulated steel pipe

Insulation steel pipes are widely used in liquid and gas transmission pipe networks, chemical pipe insulation projects in petroleum, chemical, central heating and heating networks, central air-conditioning ventilation pipes, and municipal engineering. High-temperature prefabricated direct-buried thermal Insulation steel pipe is a direct-buried prefabricated thermal Insulation steel pipe with good thermal insulation performance, safety and reliability, and low construction cost.

Composition of Insulated Steel Pipe

Part 1: Carrier pipe (Inside): Stainless steel or Carbon steel

Part 2: Insulating layer (Medium): Polyurethane foam (PUR Form) (High insulation qualities compared to mass and volume)

Part 3: Protective jacket (Outside casing): Plastic or steel (Polyethylene (PEH), High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Galvanized, Aluminum etc)

Pos: The choice of carrier pipe, foam type and foam thickness, as well as the material for the jacket, is made by the customer, who can also choose to supply carrier pipes for the project.

Application of Insulated Steel Pipe

1. Municipal centralized heating: The main pipe material for urban hot water pipelines (50 ℃ -120 ℃), accounting for the vast majority of market demand, is used for long-distance thermal energy transmission from heat source stations to end users.

  2. Industrial high-temperature steam: High temperature steam transportation in power plants and chemical plants (up to 350 ℃, 2.5MPa) mainly uses steel sleeve steel structures to prevent insulation layer failure.

  3. Petrochemical and oil and gas: Insulation and anti condensation of crude oil, hot oil, natural gas, and LNG transmission pipelines to adapt to complex soil corrosion environments.

  4. Refrigeration and insulation engineering: Central air conditioning refrigerant pipes, cold storage pipelines, and low-temperature liquid transportation (-50 ℃ to -90 ℃) to prevent loss of cooling capacity and condensation.

  5. Special scenarios: geothermal development, utilization of nuclear waste heat, coal mine heating, and special laying projects across rivers/permafrost areas. ‌‌
