  The basic design concept of the socket weld flange, referred to as the SW flange, is similar to that of the flat welding flange with neck. Socket weld flange has a socket hole inside, allowing the pipe to be directly inserted and welded. When welding, a circle of welds must be formed on the back of the flange to ensure the stability of the connection. It is worth noting that due to the gap between the socket weld flange and the pipe, this may cause corrosion problems. To address this problem, another weld can be added inside to effectively prevent corrosion.
